MEET COACH JACK PINKERTON

Baseball has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve played the game at a competitive level and learned firsthand what it takes to improve, compete, and succeed. Now, my goal is to pass that knowledge on to the next generation of players.

I played at Arcadia High School under legendary Coach Parisi, where I got to play alongside my younger brother, Billy. He was on the mound and I was behind the plate. Building that pitcher catcher bond not only sharpened my understanding of the game, but also deepened my appreciation for leadership, communication, and trust on the field.

I went on to play Division I baseball at UC Santa Barbara, competing at the highest levels of college baseball & played semi-professional baseball, gaining even more experience.

Now, with over 10+ years of coaching experience, I focus on developing youth and travel ball players who want to improve their skills, confidence, and game performance.

Coaching Philosophy

Every player is unique and moves differently, especially at the youth and travel ball level.

My approach focuses on…

  • Building strong fundamentals early

  • Teaching proper mechanics to prevent bad habits

  • Beyond mechanics, I help athletes develop the mental game… focus, confidence, and composure

  • Creating game speed reps that translate to real performance

  • Developing advance skills

  • Making lessons challenging, fun, and productive

I believe players improve fastest when they understand why they’re doing something, not just how.

Let’s Build the Right Foundation
